Hi, I purchased the Arlo Pro from Costco in 2018. Recently, i noticed that when i plugged in the power cable into camera, it didnt charge at all. Even the spare battery, it wouldnt charge a all.

Understanding the Context

There is a message " KB article for Charging Faults ". i did reboot my base or remove battery and plug in. None of them worked. Does anyone have this experience please help?

Key Insights

Thank you. if someone from the Arlo team can direct me to the appropriate kb article (s) so I can set up separate arm/disarm rules or how to roll back I would really appreciate it. You can't roll back. There are two options that will give you separate controls for each property. create one account per property and use the friend account feature to share ...

Final Thoughts

I've seen conflicting information, but nothing concrete even from Arlo. There's a KB article... Does the Arlo Essential Video Doorbell Wire-Free have an integrated siren? Yes. The built-in siren can be activated manually within the Arlo app, or you can set the siren to automatically ring when motion is detected to deter unwanted visitors. But how?

The first knowledge base article you've linked is referring to 1st generation Essential devices. 2nd generation devices are not yet compatible with base stations/SmartHubs. According to article id# 000062518, the Arlo Wire-free doorbell will trickle charge when connected to a 24V charger after the battery goes below 60% charge or something like that. My doorbell is not trickle charging.
